Woman TTI Thrown Off Train In Kazipet

Kazipet Rural: A female Travelling Ticket Inspector (TTI) was pushed out of the Patna Express by the passengers in the coach.

The incident took place at Kazipet Junction in Warangal Urban district on Wednesday.

The woman TTI, Neelima sustained serious injuries in the incident. Neelima, who works as TTI in Kazipet Junction Railway Commercial division boarded the Dhanapur bound train in Secunderabad and reached Kazipet during her inspection in Sleeper Class coach.

Neelima found passengers traveling in the Sleeper Class – 1 with general tickets following which she asked them to pay a penalty.

Not heeding to the TTI’s complaints, the passengers, instead pushed her out of the train. As she fell onto the platform, the general coach passengers noticed her and helped her out.

Railway officials who were alerted regarding the incident rushed her to the Railway Hospital where she received first-aid. Later, she was shifted to Rohini Hospital for better treatment. Due to the incident, the Patna Express halted in Kazipet for a while.
